Health & Fitness Notice
Understand the difference between recorded measurements and PulseState's estimates.

Wellness information, not a diagnosis
PulseState is for general wellness and fitness awareness. It does not provide medical advice, a diagnosis, treatment, or emergency monitoring. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, medical conditions, medication, and whether an exercise plan is appropriate for you. Never ignore symptoms because an app score looks favorable.
What is measured and what is estimated
Values such as heart rate, HRV, sleep records, blood pressure, steps, and workout measurements come from authorized Health records or an active Watch workout. PulseState is not the sensor that originally measured those values. Health may also contain manual entries and third-party records.
Recovery, readiness, Body Energy, stress indicators, sleep scores, fatigue, recommended effort, and training windows are calculated interpretations. Body Energy is not a measured battery level, calorie reserve, or an Apple Health measurement. Stress indicators do not diagnose a mental-health condition, and rhythm wording does not diagnose a heart arrhythmia.
Training Load combines session duration, activity type, and an effort estimate. Where sufficient workout and personal reference heart-rate data exist, recorded heart rate can inform that estimate; otherwise activity-based assumptions are used. It is not a direct measurement of cardiovascular strain or a clinically validated injury-risk score.
Training windows and coaching summarize patterns in available history. They are suggestions, not promises of peak performance. Limited history, missing signals, changes in routine, illness, medication, or sensor error can make the guidance less representative. Associations between workouts and sleep do not prove that one caused the other.
Check freshness and your source records
Apple controls when Health records become available and when the operating system permits background updates. A Watch summary or widget may lag behind iPhone. Check the displayed update time, allow appropriate permissions, and compare unexpected measurements with their source in Apple Health.
A missing reading, low confidence, or “unavailable” result is not a normal medical result and does not rule out a problem. Blood oxygen, blood pressure, breathing, and heart-related displays are not emergency alerts. Do not rely on PulseState while doing an activity that requires your full attention.
If you feel unwell, stop exercising and seek appropriate professional advice. Contact local emergency services for an emergency. Support at zxapps1993@gmail.com is for app assistance, not medical care.
